Report on Web2.0 CTA/RSUST Training Workshop.

In institutional Work Plan

My institution is University of Port Harcourt.
My first step is to apply to my head of department, Department of Agricultural Economics & Extension for permission to organize training for the member staff.
My next step will be to create an awareness on the use and benefit of Web2.0 tools to my colleagues
and other members of staff.
Step2 The training will be done taking them through various tools available for use for sharing information and to carry out other applications.
Day 1 Training 1st November,2010: Introduction on the Web2.0 tools and application
The following training will be undertaken
i Training on how to create blogger spot account, how to create alert account, how to create gmail account.
Day 2  2nd November,2010: The following training will be undertaken Design the Dashboard site, create linkedin account and allow for participatory activities.
Day3November,2010: November,2010: The training for the day will include how to get to google doc to do collaborating research writing and peer review and discussion, also there will be a training on how to use the sit to evaluate our students as well as supervising research students.
Day4 November,2010: The training in the will include the use of facebook, how to open account on facebook and how to apply it in the research writing and sharing.
Day5  November,2010The training will center on the creating of skpe account and how it is used for collaborating work, how to create wilki account and how contributions on our area of specialization should be made,The use of twitter tools and dropbox will also be taught and experiences will be shared among participants.
